First of all, I sincerely want to thank you for choosing this YOGA FLOW FOR BEGINNERS workshop.
This course is accessible and practical. It consists of 9 modules where you will learn from scratch the most practiced asanas in the different styles of yoga, through a sequence that you can assemble and disassemble as you wish.
All the asanas or postures are broken down and explained in detail separately, so that you can learn them better and practice them at your own pace.
Once you become familiar with them and the breathing technique, you have adapted them to your needs and have practiced them, you will spontaneously incorporate many more postures, opening your imagination and giving yourself the opportunity to create and grow little by little in your practice.
There is a total of 9 modules
Module 1 Welcome and Recommendations
Module 2 Yoga, Yoga styles, Philosophy, Pranayama and Meditation
Module 3 Anatomy
Module 4 Structure and Warm up
Module 5 Sequence: Explanation of each of the asanas.
Module 6 Transition Asanas
Module 7 Flow practice
Module 8 Cool Down
Module 9 Bonuses
Each module has its own illustrated PDF, which you can download and read whenever you want.
At the end of all 9 modules, you will take a small, very easy exam but don’t be scared; it is just to explore your knowledge, besides you can do over as many times as you need, don’t worry.
The course is intended for beginners as well as Yoga teachers.
It is for all those self-taught people who want to know and get closer to the practice, that is, new yogis. This includes: the course with all its asanas explained step by step, the downloadable PDFs and the Bonus of a complete pranayama class, a guided meditation, a class with the sequence you will learn using yoga blocks plus a complete class, showing what the live class would be like from start to finish.
It is also for Yoga teachers who wish to get an official certificate endorsed by Yoga Alliance in addition to continuing education hours.
In addition to everything mentioned above, it includes an hour of personalized tutoring as well to clarify any doubts you may have before taking the final practical exam, which will be via Zoom or Google Meet.
You will have one hour to take the exam and you will immediately receive your feedback and your certificate will be sent to your email, which you can download immediately and upload it to your Yoga Alliance profile, adding 10 hours to your Continuing Education.
Regarding the exam, it is very simple, don’t worry, I am sure you will do very well.
The exam, as I said before, is very easy. Creating a sequence maintaining the structure you have just learned. It does not have to be the same one, though but if you still want to try the one you learned in the course, it is no problem.
My recommendation is that you be yourself and feel free to create your own sequence with the asanas you learned in the course. Change the order of the asanas and flip the base sequence, you will see how from that sequence, at least 4 or 5 different sequences emerge and, using the same postures, you can even incorporate your favorite asanas as transition or as part of the sequence.
Again, the important thing is that you be yourself.
I hope you enjoy it and learn a lot.
See you on the mat.
