Feel the Love at Bhakti Fest!

Bhakti Fest is a beloved annual gathering in Joshua Tree, California. The positive ripple effects this festival creates are immeasurable. This year’s festival will return to the beautiful Joshua Lake & Campground, September 27-29, 2024.

In 2011, I was a newish yoga teacher and attended Bhakti Fest for the first time (the festival started in 2009). I had the festival experience of a lifetime and left feeling radiant and alive. During the festival, I meditated, practiced yoga, sang, danced, laughed, cried, nourished my body, stargazed, connected with desert nature, met many new humans, and most of all was deeply and truly inspired!

In the fall of 2012, I started the Yoga Trade community and though unconscious of it at the time, now reflecting back, I think that the inspiration gleaned at Bhakti Fest may have played a part in my ability to open the channels to grace and let new creative ideas flow through, including that of Yoga Trade.

I have returned to the festival several times in different ways; as part of the volunteer / seva program, as a participant, and as media coverage. Every Bhakti experience has been unique and uplifting.

Reasons Why I love Bhakti Fest:

The Lineup!

This festival brings together some of the best wellness teachers and conscious musicians of our time. This year some of the yoga teachers include; Dianne Bondy, Shiva Rea, Janet Stone, Andrew Sealy, Seane Corn, Susanna Barkataki, Amanda Giacomini, Kia Miller, Govind Das, and more.

Headliners will include Grammy nominee Krishna Das and MC YOGI. Additional sound artists Deya Dova, Marieme, Ajeet, Radhika Das, Kr3ture, Vijay Krsna, Nikunja, Govind Das and Jacqueline Michelle, Radhika Vekaria, Amritakripa, Fantuzzi, Saeed Younan, Jayadeva Dasa, Nina Rao, Shamiran, Allison Eaton, and more will be present!

In the festival’s tradition, Bhakti Fest is dedicated to beloved mentor and friend Baba Ram Das. There is also the opportunity to interact with and learn from some of the greatest luminaries of our time. Speakers in 2024 include Jai Dev, Indy Rishi Singh (and the Cosmic Labyrinth), Tommy Rosen, and others.

The Location

If you believe in the spirit of place – then you will love Joshua Tree! The desert landscape provides an amazing place to explore connections with nature and the vastness of the universe. The potent energy, the plants, the sky, the lighting, will all ignite your spirit and nourish your soul. And options to explore the National Park before or after the festival!

The Vibe

The Silberfein’s (festival founder + producer) and their team do an incredible job of not only creating a dreamscape to gather but also encouraging a life led in service.

The festival is vegetarian and offers a feast of food options including raw and vegan. It is a family friendly festival – complete with a Kids’ Village and conscious activities that provide an opportunity for families to experience the magic together.

There are on-site accommodations include glamping, camping, and RV parking. There are also several hotels within a few miles of the campground that offer discounts for attendees.

The Connection

People are open at Bhakti Fest. It’s a place to be receptive and let your walls down. It is a fantastic place to reunite with old friends and meet new ones. To create new relationships with yourself, with spirit, with nature, and with the Bhakti community. A sacred space of non judgement.

A Return Home

This is a festival where you dive deep. A place to remember our oneness and our devotion to the divine. A place to come together as a collective and shed all that does not serve us. A place to cultivate creativity and compassion. A place to cleanse the heart.

Live in the Bhav, feel the love, and join us this September 27-29, 2024 at Bhakti Fest!
