[av_dropcap1]S[/av_dropcap1]implified; for Jesse, yoga is about being himself and observing and enjoying the richness and diversity the human experience has to offer. The catalyst for his own practice has changed many times over the years. In this moment, having a balanced practice on and off the yoga mat that is present in all layers of daily life is the current focus of his yoga.
Jesse’s “teaching style” is a syntheses of 10 years of studying and practicing in different lineages and with different teachers. His focus when designing an asana practice is that participants may experience; a harmony between the freedom of the breath and the alignment of the movement, a relaxation of the thought bringing inspiring compassionate action and a balance with the central nervous system aligning the parasympathetic and sympathetic branches.
He views his duty as a yoga teacher as a way to meet you and your practice in the present moment. Each session is designed to build slowly and safely towards a pinnacle pose.

He has had the opportunity to study and practice in a variety of communities including; Toronto, Costa Rica, Morocco, India and Thailand. These experiences have enriched and widened his perspective while challenging his teaching abilities.
Jesse has 700 hrs of Yoga Alliance training. He has taught at studios in Toronto and has assisted teacher trainings in Costa Rica and India.
He just finished a year contract in Morocco at a retreat centre. Currently, he is spending time in Zurich before he heads back to Canada to await a new nephew or niece. His next teaching destination will be in Nosara, Costa Rica from November and into the New Year!
