USER-UPLOADED MEDIA RETENTION POLICY

At Yoga Trade, we value your contributions and work hard to manage user data in a responsible and secure way. This policy outlines how we handle media uploaded by users (such as photos, videos, and documents) and how long that content may be retained on our servers.

Retention Timeline

Our general practice is to remove user-uploaded media from our servers approximately five (5) years after the date it was uploaded.

This helps us maintain a fast, reliable, and secure platform for all members while responsibly managing system resources.

⚠️ Important: While our intent is to retain media for up to 5 years, we do not guarantee that any file will remain stored for that full duration. Files may be removed earlier due to system maintenance, storage limitations, data corruption, security concerns, account inactivity, or other operational needs.

What This Means for You

• • Media may be deleted at any time after upload, and in some cases, earlier than 5 years.
  • We encourage you to keep backups of any important files you upload to the site.
  • Once media is deleted, it cannot be recovered.

What Triggers Deletion?

Files may be flagged for removal under several conditions, including:

  • Inactivity or deletion of the associated user account
  • Storage system cleanup or optimization
  • Policy violations or legal requirements

We strive to give users a consistent and transparent experience. While we aim to follow a 5-year retention window for uploaded media, Yoga Trade is not liable for any loss of data or media content, regardless of the reason for removal.
