PRACTICE MAKES PROGRESS!
My name is AJ and I am passionate about sharing my love for Yoga. I believe in the importance of stability. As we practice, all is coming.
I began my Yoga journey in 2015 and immediately fell in love. I love how the practice doesn’t push you one way or the other, but always to the center. I make sure to create a space where we always push ourselves healthy enough to progress and improve, but never hard enough that we exceed our limitations. The practice is balance. It is a balance of variety and consistency; of effort and relaxation.
Since then, I have been to multiple retreats and trainings all over Asia and South America practicing with wonderful students and notable teachers. It feels amazing to become a part of the contribution to one’s happiness and well-being through a practice that I believe in and very passionate about.
Teaching has led me to realize my own shortcomings not only as a teacher, but also as a human being. I have grown to have an understanding that all bodies are different and that the physical practice, or Asanas, is merely an instrument that prepares us for what Yoga truly is.
I want to be able to teach in such an approach that would let the student direct their focus inward to further explore and understand the other components that I believe are essential to the practice; the breath, the mind, and the soul.

Consistency is key to his practice. He is an RYT-200 certified by the Chicago Yoga Center, where he did his Hatha Yoga Teacher Training with Suddha Weixler. You will find that his classes are very technical and multi-level with a wonderful balance of effort and relaxation. Since then, AJ continues to study and teach yoga with other wonderful teachers and students all over the world.
