I have been teaching yoga for almost 4 years and was classically trained in Hatha through the Sivananda lineage of traditional Indian yogic practices first in 2010 and again in 2015.
I have been a long term practitioner of yoga, having adopted the practice in 1999.
I consider yoga to be a guide to living and my life to align through the guide of yogic practices.
As a teacher of asana, I have taught full time, part time, on retreat, various workshops, in block courses or programs, and privately.
While I trained in Hatha, my own teaching is influenced by the evolution of my own intuitive practice.
I am also experienced in teaching various contemporary styles such as vinyasa, power, restorative, yin, and yin yang, as well as leading short nidras and guided meditations.
I am also a dedicated meditator and I consider this practice to be highly important, however; I believe that both body and mind should align for us to be at our most healthy, peaceful and centred state.
There is always a way to bring yoga with you in the way you relate or communicate, either to yourself or to others. This is what I believe allows yoga to make such a big impact on the practitioner, often starting subtly, and, when practiced long term, with the potential for true, life changing and transformational shifts, both internally, and externally.
A Little More About Me

Experience & Qualifications
Hatha, Vinyasa, Power, Restorative, Yin and Yin Yang.
I have taught in The Cayman Islands, New Zealand, Peru and Australia. Yoga is a language understood by every-one and a practice for every-body.
Yoga does not discriminate between culture, race, class, age or health and is a practice which, with the right guidance and awareness, can be modified for the individuals needs at the exact moment in which they are practicing.
Yoga is a guide of how to live in alignment with your own needs, in compliment to the people around you and the world in which you live in.
Yoga is a life practice, the asana is a partial practice of the yogic principles of living and when you open yourself to the full practice of these principles, they will allow you to surrender to the truth of your life purpose, to connect genuinely with the people around you, and to walk the earth lightly with respect and love.
