A Little More About Me
Philadelphia, PA, USA
Initially I began to practice yoga in the summer of 1997 after bicycling across the US as a way to physically recover. After several years of regular practice I moved due to career then became very much a work addict. Consequently my practice was inconsistent for over a decade. Over the past 30 years I have been an avid runner and ultramarathoner, also rock climber, and generally athletic. A few years ago I began practicing yoga again to balance all of the other things I do. And I completely fell in love with the practice. Then came YTT. I was one of those who attended just to “deepen my practice” never thinking that I would teach yoga. But, I did. Then I feel in love with both practicing and teaching yoga. Now I teach, mostly as a volunteer, as a way of sharing this wonderful practice with others. My interests are in Vinyasa, Hatha, Gentle and Restorative yoga. I like “hard” athletic classes. And I love teaching gentle yoga at a local studio. Yoga has helped make this phase of my life great. And, it supports my spiritual life and gives meaning.
