In this life, I have been pushed in so many ways to where yoga has always brought me back to peace within. This undeniable connection to the life force that causes the shift is woken up by the practice of stilling my mind through yoga. The divine connection to the universe and the cosmos is something I am indefinitely curious about and is indeed a huge part of my practice in yoga. But, to bring the smallest slice of that peace in other people’s lives to help them act out of love and intention is the greatest gift of all. That is why I am a yoga teacher. To help be a conduit or plainly an instructor to bring people closer to themselves and more connected to the world they live in.
A Little More About Me
My practice is generally hatha style and yin, but all waves of yoga interest me, and I am always super willing to try out any new form. Recently, I have been doing a lot of self practice and research with kundalini. I am also really into sound healing with singing bowls, or singing from the heart space to others.
Experience & Qualifications
Hatha, Yin, Ashtanga, Kundalini,
My experience may be limited in practical terms, but in life in general, I would say I have a decent amount of experience under my belt. I have been solo traveling abroad for over a year now, since the age of 19, exploring many cultures, displacing myself so that I can realign in my truth. Exploring what it is like to put myself behind many different backdrops, shaking up my world, but standing firmer within my truths every time. With travel comes adapting, and taking little pieces from other peoples ways of life into my own, everyday practice for the rest of my life. Its this sense of experience in the global community that I can prove background. I have only had my “teacher training” done in February, but yoga has been an anchor for me for many years through teenhood, and now adulthood. As the world shifts to a global community through these technological advances, I continue to feel the connection through physically adapting to these different ways of life. Therefore I can make any place, any studio, and any shala, my home with a full heart, as long as they have open arms!
