My name is Charlotte I am a Yoga, Meditation and Mindfulness teacher of 4+ years teaching various groups of people, ages and levels of experience. I have run many mindfulness workshops, Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin and Meditation classes over the UK and London.
I am also the founder of Tapah Wellbeing – a mindfulness focused business that runs workshops, classes and programmes for individuals and large businesses for their staff.
I have moved my business online and now looking for teaching opportunities outside of the UK anywhere in the world.
“My deep passion for helping people transform their perceptions and; control of mind come from my own stories and experiences.
After over 10 years in fast paced senior corporate roles I found myself struggling to find that thing so many of us talk about and don’t feel ‘balance’. How should it feel and where could I find it?
My experience started in Recruitment for a large agency ‘booo’ I hear people say but yes it was as chaotic and pressured as you can imagine. After many years here I went and worked directly for some well-known and popular brands leading talent acquisition, shaping their recruitment strategy, employer brand, culture and wellbeing. Moving onto Partner with founders at startups to help them scale I took the role of leading wellbeing and getting such valuable exposure to the cultures and conditions of many workforces struggles which fed me such inspiration to lead me to starting Tapah Wellbeing.”
I have always, since a little girl, been incredibly spiritually curious which, brought me to my yoga mat during my early twenties.
I knew my purpose was to help others explore this to and connection to body and mind so I began my journey and studies in 2016. I spent 7 months in India in total studying; soaking up the spiritual culture and powerful Eastern knowledge. I completed my 200 hours TTC in this year, qualifying in Ashtanga Vinyasa at Abhinam Yoga Centre in 2016 where I have since been back to assisting in training further students into becoming teachers themselves. I am also a certified Meditation teacher and completed my transformative training in the Himalayas with Satyam Shivam Meditation school. Other training included; Iyenga Alignment with Himalayan Iyenga, 50 Hours Asana Intensive with Himalaya Yoga Valley, Applied Anathomy, a Foundation in Life Coaching and exposure to practices in many famous schools around the world.
My style of teaching and coaching is very much focused on a work-out for the mind just as much as the body. With experience in working with clients with injuries old and new. I focuses highly on alignment of the body and building strength safely. I also likes to encourage students and clients to turn inwards and; bring awareness to their true and raw selves in order to transform into the best versions of themselves.
I have a playful approach to my teaching and; coaching and approaches any challenges with clients with ease and positivity. I believe exploring movement in the body and our mindsets should be both fun and; challenging of our comfort zones as this is where the shift in our growth happens!
