Yoga has been a part of my life for the past four years, and my practice has helped me build a connection between my mind, my body, and the breath. To me, yoga [provides a safe space for you to feel fearless and powerful, both on and off the mat.
I completed my 200 hour Hatha and Ashtanga training with Hari Om Vidya Yoga School, in Rishikesh India. My training in India was unique because it was based on the traditional tenants of yoga. Our training included; Ashtanga, Hatha, Philosophy of yoga, meditation practices, and yoga anatomy. It was an immersive experience where I got to live yoga not just practice it. I continued my yoga practice by attending Ishka Yoga Center in Colombia to nurture both my yoga studies, but also my experience of yoga in Spanish-speaking environments. In Colombia I developed the skills of Thai massage, Yoga nidra, and salsa dancing.
In my classes, I like to combine spirituality with meditation for a powerful flow. I seek to help others find a safe space within their bodies and minds and leave with confidence on their own yoga path.
