Originally born and raised in North Vancouver, BC, Canada. Jumping out of the figurative nest at 18 years young, and pursuing a University education as a student-athlete in the United States. The passion for sport bloomed into a professional athletic career, with years spent in Europe and California – Volleyball the sport of choice. This path gifted me many teachers, tribes, travels, trials and tribulations along it. Fundamentally learning plenty about the body and mind, and how to keep them both healthy and happy. Naturally inspiring me to become an educator/leader/healer – coaching sports, fitness & training, massage therapy, yoga & aquatic therapies. Gratefully introduced to Eastern approaches of medicine, bodywork, and energy awareness. I began to absorb this wealth of knowledge; enjoying practicing the principles, and living a conscious and intentional life. Now I remain in the balance of the Eastern and Western world – sharing my perceptions and understandings of it all, with those who are ready and willing to receive. Riding this collective wave of life, where I will happily and humbly be of service to a consciously connected community!
A Little More About Me
Where to begin, and how to interpret “Yoga Interests”
I love and live a Yogic lifestyle – thoroughly enjoying it all: Chakras, Meditation, Pranayama, Shatkarma, Mantra, Asanas, to name a few. Applying Karma through honest daily actions, done with intention and attention. In regards to asana styles or forms I flock to: I absolutely adore movements in the water, with Aquatic therapy. Especially enjoy deepening ones awareness and connection during a Yin session. Flowing through a strong/slow/spicy Vinyasa, or guiding partners/small groups to connect and communicate with one another in an interactive session!
