I have been a yoga enthusiast since I was a teenager and took keen interest reading about and practicing yoga asanas. However, my focus back then was only on physical fitness and hence I performed my yoga asanas mechanically and achieved the desired level of physical flexibility and mobility.
It was during the course of my yoga education, I understood and achieved the benefits of various yogic practices on my overall health and wellbeing, both at the physical and mental level.
Born with a narrow trachea, I personally suffer from respiratory problems, and I can’t stress enough on the importance of yoga in helping people with respiratory disorders, having experienced the benefits myself. Further, emotional instability is another area I have greatly struggled with and a few techniques in my yoga practice helped me to such a great extent, making me a much better version of myself today.
Having recently quit a corporate law career spanning 10 years, I now make a living teaching what I absolutely love and spreading the awareness and benefits of yoga practice to as many people as I can.
