Katy¬†stepped foot in a yoga studio for the first time at 9-years old when her mom indulged in her daughter’s curiosity and took her to a class. Ever since then yoga has been a part Katy’s life. During her sophomore year of college, Katy returned to her practice where she discovered the important role yoga played in her life. Yoga helped guide her to find her aligned path and self-love and awareness. After graduating from college, the stars aligned and she completed her 200-RYT at Inhale Pittsburgh in June 2017. Through her teaching, Katy hopes to share the light and mindfulness yoga has provided for her. As well as, encouraging her students to find their edge physically and mentally to promote a yoga practice that can be applied off the mat in everyday life. When Katy is not on her mat, you can find her tucked away in a coffee shop researching and writing, climbing rocks, or partaking in a plethora of new adventures.
