Current 200 hour student in Hobart, Tasmania. Originally born and bred in Washington state from the San Juan Islands, a beautifully gateway into the Puget sound.
I moved to New Zealand after my 18th birthday and spent 2 years studying outdoor education. Upon graduation I again moved, finding myself in Australia, working as an outdoor educator with high school students. This summer I took a break after two years of students and moved off of the main land. During this time I spent 6 months sea kayak guiding in the beautiful Coles Bay. Recently made the move to Hobart and studying under Bija Yoga Studio for the next 6 months to earn my 200 hour.
My future goals are combining yoga with outdoor education. Running workshops and retreats to teach people how to return back to the roots of nature. Days spent hiking, rock climbing, swimming, and kayaking. Followed by fire ceremonies, breathwork, and of course daily yoga practices!
A Little More About Me
I love the diversity of yoga. Delving into the multitude of modalities is fascinating and enriching. Vinyasa, hatha, yin, restorative, therapy, bhakti, and so much more.
Working with the elements of the earth intertwined with the chakras is powerful during meditations or asana practice.
