I’m Lynn, I am from and living in Germany and I am 27 years old. During the last 8 years, my originally classical vinyasa practice and teaching style grew into a more multifaceted mélange of tantra, amrita, hatha and kundalini. I got my formal 200h-training with Sarahjoy Marsh in Portland Oregon with the focus on trauma sensitive Yoga, Yoga therapy and Yoga as a tool for social justice – which is one reason why I feel very comfortable teaching in English.
While my dedication to Yoga as a tool for inner peace and freedom is deeply rooted, I also strongly believe that personal transformation is inextricably from the outer – meaning political, social and environmental – circumstances we live in. Due to this believe, I have dedicated my practice to sacred activism, where I bring the wisdom and peace from the mat onto the streets and underserved areas. My hearts projects are circling around feminist issues such as sexual freedom, shame, vulnerability, critical masculinity and sexual trauma. In this contexts, I have been giving retreats and workshops merging Asana, meditation, dance, eco-feminism and Gestalt therapy into an explosive mix that I hope will make this world a little more love and livable. Providing accessible, compassionate, fun, Yoga classes, especially to those that would usually not benefit from it, is my motivation to teach 4 classes a week here in Germany and give 1 to 2 all-day workshops every month. The rest of the time, I speak publicly on topics of social justice, feminism and sexual liberation and work as a massage therapist.
