A Little More About Me
Koh Tao, Thailand
My interest is in connection. Connecting with other beings, and facilitating space for them to get in touch with their deeper layers. My passion is rooted in making yoga (classes) more accessible to those who are at the margins of society, those who are told they don’t look like a yogi. And as I teach, I am interested in increasing my depth of knowledge. Teaching has transformed my personal practice over the last 2 years, and I’m especially eager to find opportunities that allow me to deeper study yogic texts & traditions found outside of the studio.

Experience & Qualifications
Vinyasa, Restorative, Yin, Hatha
With almost 2 years since the completion of my 200 hour YTT, I have logged over 400 hours of instructing yoga classes. The majority of these courses have been Vinyasa, but in 2018 I began teaching weekly yin & restorative courses as well. In the United States, my background was primarily with teaching community classes, aimed at women of color and community organizers. Since traveling abroad, however, the vast majority of my experience teaching has been at a popular tourist destination in Thailand. While teaching 7-14 classes a week, I learned to cater to students of varying language abilities & experiences with yoga. Vacation on a tropical island seems to inspire people to try yoga for the first time, so it became common to newbies alongside longterm yogis looking to deepen their practice.
