Yoga has been a part of my life for over 5 years, and my practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully.
I completed my 200 HR Hatha Vinyasa training at Samma Karuna International Awakening School on the beautiful Island of Koh Phangan in the Gulf of Thailand, and my 100 hour Yoga as a Therapeutic Tool with InBody Academy in Utah. I have also worked as a wilderness therapy guide. In my classes I integrate the rawness of nature, and the teaching of the elements. I will always be a student of the practice and am deeply grateful for the loving wisdom my teachers have shared with me.
In my classes, I love to emphasize the importance of setting clear intentions, and taking the time to create space in the body mind and soul to make room for what we truly desire. I enjoy implementing creative sequencing, playfulness and inspiration to help deepen your practice on and off the mat. My desire is to help others to experience ease and joy in their own body, mind and soul, and my hope is that by creating balance in our bodies we can create balance and peace in the world.

A Little More About Me
When I’m not on my mat you can find me at community dance events, or wandering around the mountains; climbing, camping and hiking. I enjoy anything that gets my body moving and my heart pumping.

Experience & Qualifications
Haha Vinyasa, Yin, Power, Pranayama, Social Dynamic Meditation
I completed my Hatha Vinyasa 200 HR at Samma Karuna Healing School in Thailand. Once I completed my training I taught at the school twice a week for two months, teaching classes with up to 30 students. For my last month I also taught smaller classes at Sunset Hill Resort once a week. Since returning back to Utah I was offered a teaching position for Ecstatic Dance SLC. I also teach privates and offer free classes at a local park near by. I have also attended the 100 HR Yoga as a Therapeutic Tool Immersion through InBody Academy, and a handful of other workshops offered by local studios. In the classes I teach I focus on pranayama, awareness of the breath with movement, and meditation. I design my classes in a way that allows students to take practical techniques off of their mat and into every day life.
