Movement has always been part of my life. I began dancing as a child, continuing on to train as a professional dancer in my adult life. I am particularly interested in movement improvisation and the freedom it offers. For me, it is a form of meditation, an exploration into the true self.
I have been practicing yoga regularly for the last 5 years. To me not only is it a physical practice but a form of self- exploration: a way of finding freedom within the mind and body, and a creating connection with the present moment.
As a yoga and dance teacher, I strive to create a nurturing, supportive space where students can be playful, curious and open. I aim to provide students with clear alignment instructions, comfortable manual adjustments, and a soft, caring approach to their own practice. My desire is to reduce stress and worry and increase happiness and joy.
