As a yoga instructor I empower my students to be their best selves through building strength in tandem with confidence and balance with a sense of self control. My classes focus on holistic approaches to physical wellness and its direct correlation to mental wellness. My classes can be have different approaches, such as Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative, Post-Exercise/Hike, Meditation-focused, or mixed. I emphasize safe anatomy and the breath-movement connection in every practice.
I believe yoga and mindfulness can create lasting positive change. I challenge myself to broaden accessibility by teaching to students of all ages and backgrounds, in non-traditional spaces, and have completed coursework in teaching to those with trauma.
Aside from teaching yoga, my other passions include living and promoting a healthy lifestyle, as well as experiencing the world, it’s people, cultures, and our shared goals. I find life in cultivating peace through love.
