My main love in this world is movement and people. I have been practicing yoga for 4 years and I’m continuing to learn and grow as a student and I have been teaching yoga for a little over 3 years. Integrating mind, body, and spirit through movement breath and emotion is the foundation of my classes. I’m certified in Vinyasa Flow, Yin, Gentle, and Hatha. I also am graduating with a Bachelors’s degree in Psychology with a minor in health and wellness coaching. I’m always trying to see the best in every situation, and I would love to share my practice with the world.

When it comes to the practice of yoga, I’m captivated by the complexity of movement, the movement in the breathing, the movement in the body, and the movement of emotion. Movement can be easy and fluid, and it can be stagnant and challenging. In either situation, I teach stillness and separation from these sensations. Not separation in the sense of separating one’s self from the body, but separation from the sense that you aren’t the suffering, but the open and compassionate awareness that experiences the “suffering”. If yogis continue to do this in their practice, then they can translate this awareness off their mat when life becomes challenging and stressful. The mat is only a small fraction of yoga, it’s what we do off our mat that will help guide our souls to our best selves

I have been teaching for 3 years. I have taught in dorms on campus, in big fields for 108 sun salutations, in studios, and in chapter rooms for sororities. My classes at my college range from 18-40 students consistently. I’m currently teaching 5 times a week in a studio and I continue to grow my classes. I got my Yoga E-RYT in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia which expanded my practice.
