I have lived and worked in five different countries and traveled extensively to learn more about myself, others and the world. While primarily a formal school-based educator, I also consider my role as a yoga instructor an integral part of my life as an educator as I support others in their journey of self discovery through breath and movement.

A Little More About Me
I am a self-described wondering, wandering, dancing, yogi living a dream to live, work and play around the world. As a dancer and fearless mover, I bring deliberate, mindful movement to the yoga mat while exploring the body’s capacity for strength and grace. Also a seasoned educator and anatomy geek, I place my focus on the student, assuring that all yogis are empowered to discover their unique gifts while developing their physical and spiritual power. My mission is to ensure that each person understands his/her own body. My upbeat classes combine alignment for intelligent, effective movement and lots and lots of joy.

Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin, Yoga & Mindfulness for Children
I am a RYT 500 through Yoga Alliance. I took my 300-hour vinyasa training at Sampoorna Yoga in Goa, India, and my 200-hour through a collaboration between Lotus House of Yoga, Omaha and Bliss Yoga, Accra. Additionally, I have taken a 60-hour yin training and a 50-hour pranayama and meditation training. I have taught in a variety of settings, including studio classes, workshops and retreats, and to a variety of students from regular class attendees to travelers, expatriates to locals. My teaching experience has traveled with me from Ghana to Vietnam, Thailand to the USA. This also includes schools (mostly ages 7-16). Additionally, I have completed mindfulness courses for educators wanting to implement mindfulness practices in the school setting through Mindful Schools.
