Tania Rose Fox
I’m an experienced yoga teacher (since 2012) and practitioner (since 1995), and also a trained cacao ceremony facilitator (since 2018) and Thai yoga massage therapist (since 2015), fully insured to share all these offerings worldwide (other than in the USA & Canada). I am particularly inspired by indigenous spiritual & healing wisdom traditions, as well as eastern philosophies including Zen, Buddhism and Taoism. My yoga teaching is rooted in nature-based spirituality, and a desire to share yoga as a mindful, meditative pathway towards healing, harmony and spiritual awareness.
I’ve done this work mostly in the UK, but in winter of 2016-17 taught yoga & gave Thai massage treatments at a retreat centre in Thailand; in the past, I also lived / worked / travelled worldwide including periods in Canada, the USA, Mexico, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia and Spain – I used to teach English as a foreign language.
I hold a First Class BA Hons degree in Philosophy (western), and another degree in Fine Art, both from UK universities. I speak Spanish pretty fluently (lived in Spain for a year & kept it up – not bilingual but definitely good enough for conversation and living!) and also speak French (studied at school for 7 years and hold an A-level certificate) – not as fluent as my Spanish though!

A Little More About Me
Experience & Qualifications
Holistic, Hatha, Lunar Vinyasa, Ashtanga, Restorative/Yin
I’ve been teaching yoga in the UK since 2012 (I’ve been practicing since 1995); and since the end of 2014 have been entirely self-employed as a yoga teacher & holistic therapist. Mostly, I teach a mixture of weekly drop-in yoga classes and weekend workshops, some 6 week courses, and have also taught yoga & given massage treatments at an international yoga retreat centre in Thailand.
I have attended several trainings & retreats around the world, as well as teaching and giving treatments at a retreat centre in Thailand in winter 2016-17. (I also travelled/worked/ lived abroad for much of 1997 – 2001, including teaching English as a foreign language.)
I did my 2 year (500hr) yoga teacher training course with the Devon School of Yoga from 2011 – 13; six months into the course, in early 2012, I began teaching public classes.
I was invited to teach my holistic approach to Ashtanga at the Devon Yoga Festival in 2016 & 2017.
In 2018 I undertook an intensive training to share cacao plant medicine in sacred ceremonies, and I’ve been holding regular women’s sacred cacao ceremonies around Devon since then. This path & offering is particularly special to me!
I now focus on teaching Lunar Vinyasa weekly Yoga classes, monthly cacao ceremonies and occasional “Yoga Cacao Nidra” workshops, which form a bridge between my various offerings and include my own specially written nidras.
