A Little More About Me
Portland, Oregon, USA
I have been practicing yoga for 15 years, teaching for 5, and am a Yoga Alliance certified instructor (RYT). I received my 200-hour Hatha Yoga training through my home studio, Tough Love Yoga, in 2013, in Atlanta, GA. In December 2014, I began travel-teaching, and through my recent adventures I have realized her passion for working with women, and toward that end have completed her pre-natal yoga certification, and has also become a women’s circle leader through The WILD Woman Project.
The foundation and core energy flowing through my classes are that of compassion, acceptance, and healing. Accordingly, sequences are challenging, and intentionally structured to build both strength and precision in one’s body. My training focused heavily on anatomy and alignment; therefore cues for pose structure and refinement are specific and measurable.
I am incredibly passionate about using the tools of yoga to help people feel strong within their bodies, so they feel empowered within their lives.
