Sydney is a 200 hour certified yoga instructor specializing in slow, sweet hatha styled flow classes. She also teaches traditional vinyasa, yin, and restorative, but incorporates a number of influences into her teaching. Her background as a competitive athlete and a gymnast allows her to really help make cultivating a personal practice accessible to anyone. She aims to help her students invite love into their practices, thus inviting it into their lives.
Sydney also has a daily meditation practice, with influences that can be traced to zen buddhist mindfulness philosophy and transcendental meditation. She shares her teachings in one-on-one sessions as well as group meditation classes and workshops. She has shared her passion with the masses, as a guest on the Dr. Oz Show, to explain the myriad of ways meditation can help restore order to one’s life.
She believes wholeheartedly in facilitating an active dialogue between the body and the mind, and that the harmony, not just balance, between the two is the key to living your best life.
