I am a semi-nomadic teacher and artist. I have enjoyed living in a surf hostel for four seasons in Puerto Rico. Last winter I lived on premises at a new yoga retreat center in Jamaica. In addition to some teaching, I also helped them create marketing materials. I frequently paint murals on my journeys.
I have enjoyed a steady yoga practice since 2015 and became certified to teach in a gym setting in January 2020. I taught an intensive six week, five times/week yoga introduction in a gym that did not have a yoga program. The students loved the class and have requested another. I am the in-house substitute at the gym where I work out and teach at least 3 times/month, varying classes and times as needed. The students requested and the gym has offered me my own classes, but I prefer to stay flexible and nomadic.
A Little More About Me
Atlanta, GA USA
I love teaching all types of yoga classes, specializing in offering beginners great support as they become familiar with the asanas and making sure more advanced students are challenged. I prepare special breathing and savasana messages to encourage positivity individually and invite students to send it back out into the world. I am known by my students for my calm, meditative voice and steady rhythm when I teach. I am adept at meeting my always changing students where they are in their yoga journey. I especially enjoy teaching yoga outdoors. I am very interested in tailoring yoga practices to other athletic disciplines such as surfing, body building and distance competitors.
