tashi dawa yoga
An established meditator and movement specialist, Tashi Dawa has been teaching yoga since 1998 and is a now a respected senior teacher and retreat yoga specialist.
She leads teacher trainings and mentorship programs as well as leading up to 30 retreats a year in some of Europe’s most established retreats.
Tashi Dawa is also a KPJAYI authorised level 2 Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga teacher.
Her objective in teaching ashtanga is to lead each student to develop and adore their daily yoga self-practice. She also teaches somatic meditations and embodied mindfulness on retreats, in workshops and online with Ekhart Yoga.
She’s been a practitioner of yoga since the early 90’s and has studied with some of the world’s master yoga and meditation teachers.
A Little More About Me
Tashi Dawa is born in Australia and was blessed by Lama Zopa at birth, her mother was a student of Lama Yeshe and she has been honouring this lineage with travels to Dharamsala India since 2004.
She practices and teaches yoga as a wisdom lineage, she takes the commitment to yoga as a self-enquiry as a life long practice.
She has been traveling and teaching for over 15 years, she made her commitments to the practice in her 20’s when she was living in Bali (in 1996 there was only one yoga teacher in Ubud… imagine that!) and was introduced to the Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga Primary series from Graeme Northfeild.
She’s witty, passionate and intelligent and she converts hundreds of students to self-practice year after year..
“Tashi is an incredibly engaging teacher, she’s quick-witted, intelligent and always offers a healthy dose of the profound.” retreat guest review 2018
