I was initially drawn to the practice of yoga for it’s physical benefits and started practicing in my bedroom from a series of dvd’s. Gradually I began to realise the practice offered so much more than flexibility and functional strength, becoming more in tune with body and mind brought about a new level of awareness and a deeper understanding of myself. Having experienced the benefits first hand, I decided to undergo a teacher training in early 2018 to be able to share this wonderful practice with others. I truly believe everybody can benefit from practicing Yoga no matter what their goal, be it physical or mental, and strive to accommodate everyone in my classes.
Aside from Yoga I have a passion for the outdoors and also work part-time remotely as a Software engineer to support myself financially while travelling.
A Little More About Me
I have a daily practice of Ashtanga, which is the main basis of my personal physical practice, and I like to balance this out with a slower Yin/Restorative practice a few times a week. I also love trying different styles of Yoga and am always open to something new. As well as the physical side I also have a pranayama and meditation practice and this year really gotten into a more philosophical side having read many texts including The Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads and the Yoga Sutras and like to use some my learnings in my classes.
