Namaste! Radhe Shyam! My name is Visakha and I am from the great state of New York. I am currently living in Vrindavan, India and I am studying music and the spiritual side of Yoga on a Bhakti Yoga path. Bhakti Yoga is all about selfless devotion to not please ourselves when we do nice things but to please the divine first with selfless service to all.
I spend a lot of my time roaming through the streets of Vrindavan on my electric bicycle and spending a lot of time on my Manduka yoga mat. With over 5 years of teaching Yoga and over 6 years work of practice I have dedicated my life to serving others in the yoga community. Currently I manage three social media accounts on all platforms from Instagram to Facebook. I have over 500 hours of certifications in Hot Yoga to Hatha/Vinyasa style yoga and am currently studying Ayurvedic Yoga. I’ve worked with all ages of people and all types of bodies and practitioners.
Yoga has saved my life physically and mentally, all I can do is educate about the benefits of yoga and show how much yoga means to me. Everyday it is a practice and it is also a lifestyle.
A Little More About Me
I currently am studying Harmonium and classical music of Vrindavan through local Brajwasi mentors and teachers. I feel sound therapy during a sweet and nurturing restorative-ying-yoga fusion are one of the most relaxing things you can do with a very busy mind.
I teach a variety of style classes from the classic Power Vinyasa Yoga class to the sweet and gentle Restorative Yoga class or Yin and Candle Light Sound bath. I use instruments like harmonium and singing bowls to also using my voice in mantras such a OM. With a thirst to continuously study yoga and constantly educating myself on the mat, I feel I offer whole and complete classes for the student.
I have years of knowledge with Mind Body and understand the importance of marketing, content creating, continuous engagement of followers and posting at key times during the day. With attention to detail I have lead workshops and am planning currently for future retreats and pilgrimages to India. I have experience with exporting goods from India and experience with computer platforms like, Microsoft Word, Excel and spread sheet.

Experience & Qualifications
Vinyasa, Hatha, Barkan, Ayurveda, Bhakti
With over six years of Emergency Medicine experience working as an Emergency Medical Technician. I found that my years of service in the community has helped me better understand anatomy and different physical/mental sickness’s. I use the knowledge of the job to help me in seeing what a persons physical limitations are and we build slowly from there.
In my time teaching I have taught to patients with kidney transports, bulging or herniated disks, prenatal and postnatal yoga, senior yoga and children’s yoga. I love to especially teach beginners and have fun with the forearm balances and handstands with my more stronger of clients.
