Growing up as an athlete my body was conditioned to crave movement from a young age and I had not found a form that felt as natural as being on a volleyball court did until I was (re)introduced to yoga. I was a student for half of a decade before I felt the urge to expand my practice and learn to teach. I received my Yoga Alliance 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher Certification from CorePower Yoga along with two other more specific advanced training certifications: one focused on strengthening and conditioning with addition of weights and the other centered around balance and breath.
My personal mission is to find peace through connection, yoga and meditation make that a reality. Through these practices I find connection of my mind to my body, to the present moment, and to everyone/thing. My personal goal is to share these practices that have transformed my life for the better with those in my community who are interested in empowering themselves to best the version of who they can be.

Movement + Muscle + Mindfulness = Magic
In my style of teaching I focus on duality- movement with stillness, vulnerability with resilience, and lengthing with strengthening- creating a flow that can be relaxing yet challenging and accessible to any level yogi. The beautiful thing about yoga, as is with anything is life is there are always options. Whatever modifications a student may need along the way I am there as a guide to ultimately help them feel that end of their practice they have chosen to step forward into growth versus backwards into safety.
