I began practicing yoga to have something to look forward to when I woke up. Anxiety was overwhelming at times and yoga gave me energy for the day and clarity in why “things happen”. I began teaching a few years afterwards and find helping others and meeting new people exhilarating.
My teaching style is Hatha with philosophy bombs. The goal is to find balance and strength with attention to pranayama and positive affirmations.
A balance between gentle and challenging is the paradoxical bridge my teaching style. Practice is designed to expand the mind and promote self introspection. To shift the perception of life in order to be the best version of self in order to contribute with the unique gift given upon birth. Expect a short grounding meditation, followed by an expansive practice, closing with progressive relaxation and gratitude.
