Bringing Together a Global Wellness Community
Work Trade & Employment
Yoga Trade links teachers, students, and the wellness community with jobs, work trade, and travel opportunities in countries around the globe. Our platform has become a favorite tool for finding exciting new experiences and helping sustain your flow wherever you may roam.
For organizations, we offer a simple and effective way to tap into a deep and growing talent pool of mindful professionals that can help bring more health and abundance to your project.
The Yoga Trade community acts as a bridge on the path of development and discovery for everyone involved.
Beyond being a place to connect with work exchange and job opportunities, Yoga Trade is devoted to fostering a global community with sustainability, mindfulness, and connectedness at its core.
For us, this is what it means to live yoga, day in and out, and we aim to bring that understanding into the lives of our members in every way possible as we continue to grow and learn together.
We are all students in this life. Yoga Trade provides resources for yoga and wellness professionals by sharing inspiring stories and guides for continuing education and evolution.
Education is currently the leading edge of our growth as we aim to provide more high quality ways for our members to continue to learn and thrive.
Who We Are
3 Friends & a Vision
Erica Hartnick grew up in the Sierra Nevada foothills of California, and enjoys all things wild and free. She is grateful to have the opportunity to live a life of exploration. She teaches nature inspired yoga and leads mindful adventures in California and Costa Rica. She gets excited about: LEARNING, intense weather, glassy ocean peaks, pillows of fresh powder snow, crystal clear water, positive people, cultural travel, thriving vegetable gardens, fresh mint chip ice cream, nature’s glory, and LIVING YOGA. She is passionate about the collaboration with friends that led to the creation of Yoga Trade, and is devoted to connecting the yoga community with infinite opportunities!
Patrick McMahon is a creative creature whose quiet and tireless DIY ethic includes design, natural building and sustainable living, entrepreneurship, homemade surf products, beekeeping, musical endeavors, and film. His pursuits have landed him in the happy place of managing a rustic yoga center in southern Costa Rica where he lives with his wife and dog in a house made of mud. Between surf and yoga sessions he enjoys hunting down fast internet connections on his quad bike to keep Yoga Trade thriving.
Christie Carr lives part of the year in Florida and spends half the year co-managing the Yoga Farm Costa Rica with her husband Pat. She loves working in the garden, conserving the natural environment, sharing permaculture practices, and surfing. She is a bi-lingual yoga teacher, spreading the love in English and Spanish. She can often be found making freshly harvested culinary creations, painting, aiding those in need with herbal remedies, or being silly on the dance floor.
