Bhakti Fest is Back!

Bhakti Fest is Back!

We are happy for the return of this beautiful event! Bhakti Fest presents, ‘Welcome Home’, September 15th – 17th, 2023 in Joshua Tree, California. This festival is a pioneering gathering known for non-stop yoga, kirtan, meditation, sound healing, vegetarian cuisine, therapeutic bodywork, conscious community, and transformation that continues to serve as a beacon for spiritual seekers from around the world.

After taking a pause in 2019, the festival is looking forward to this revival. Festival producer, Bella Silberfein notes, “We are so thrilled to be collaborating with such an amazing lineup of talent for Bhakti Fest this year. It is incredible to see how excited the community is for it to be back and to gather again after the past few years.”

With world-class musicians, yoga + workshop instructors, and artisan vendors, Bhakti Fest offers one of the most heart-opening, consciousness-raising festival experiences of any today.

We are jazzed to see that some Yoga Trade friends + family will be teaching and leading workshops this year at the festival! We touched base with Allison Eaton and Andrew Sealy who will both be sharing offerings at this year’s fest.

Yoga Trade talks Bhakti Fest with Allison Eaton

How has your yoga teaching journey evolved over the years and what will your offerings be at this festival?

I’ve been training yoga teachers (at the 200 hr and 300 hr level for 16 years. What I’ve noticed is that as a collective yoga community, we are ever shifting toward yin – toward the Divine Feminine Shakti power that exists in all humans. I meet these evolutionary shifts by focusing on the Yin and Restorative styles of yoga as a teacher. I also incorporate Reiki, mantra, and sound healing into my yoga classes, all of which help us to further connect with Divine Feminine energy. At the festival I will be offering Yin Yoga and healing mantra.

What are you most looking forward to this year at Bhakti Fest?

I am looking forward to the coming together of like-minded people, in support of each other and our yogic journeys, and sending positive vibrations out into this world together!

Why do you think it’s important (especially for yoga teachers) to come together in gatherings such as this?

With all the social divisiveness that has risen on the planet over the past few years, humans taking sides and acting against each other, I think it’s more important now than ever to gather in a setting such as this. Here, we come together to transmute old and un-serving energies, uplift our frequency, experience Unity, and hold the Light for all.

We also caught up with Living Yoga Ambassador Andrew Sealy about his offerings and outlooks for Bhakti Fest 2023. Listen to what he has to say HERE.

Living in the Flow of Life: Connect to Source

Yoga. Dance. Surfing. Diving. Writing. Meditation. Running. Climbing. Swimming. Chanting. Painting. Breathwork. Hiking. While distinct in form, practices like these (and many others!) have one powerful thing in common:  – from the inside-out – with the sensuous, circadian rhythms of life. Flow experiences can catch us at any time, in…
